Is prior rune knowledge required?
No prior rune knowledge is required. Essentials of Rune Wisdom introduces the historical frame before the three aettir take you from Fehu to Dagaz.
Which runic tradition appears here?
This direction covers the Elder Futhark. It also distinguishes classical rune traditions from modern uses in games, tattoos, and occult practice.
Do the 24 runes come in an order?
Yes, the 24 Elder Futhark runes are organized into three aettir of eight. You move from Fehu to Wunjo, Hagalaz to Sowilo, then Tiwaz to Dagaz.
Can I begin without carving a rune set?
Yes, you can begin without carving a rune set. Later material covers drawing scripts, constructing staves, and making an amulet or talisman.
Does this include rune divination?
No, this direction does not include divination spreads or reading practice. It teaches rune meanings, activation, formulas, bind runes, and galdrastafir.
How do payment and certification work?
